Called to Children’s Ministry since he was 14, Kenny Conley has been a Children’s Pastor for over 10 years. Currently Kenny is serving as the Next Generation Pastor at Gateway Church, an eclectic/post-modern church in one very “weird” town (Austin, TX). Just as he was heavily influenced by his own Children’s Pastor, Kenny is passionate about seeing children find faith and grow in a living relationship with Jesus. His newest challenge is building an integrated family ministry where both Student Ministries and Children’s Ministries partner with the family to maximize the spiritual influence for each child. Beyond this, Kenny loves networking with other Children’s Pastors for ideas and encouraging, sharing thoughts and ideas with anyone who will listen and pouring into future ministry leaders. You can catch up with what’s on his heart and mind at his blog: www.childrensministryonline.com/blog. In addition to ministry, Kenny is passionate about his family. He has a beautiful wife, a very energetic son and a big, hairy dog.

With a background in mass communications, including journalism and broadcasting, along with technical computer science proficiency, he’s nurtured a diverse group of community-building situations to bring relationships and technology together.
For the past 4 years, Steve has served as the Director of Web Operations for Kidology.org, a non-profit, community-driven resource for those who work in children’s ministry. (Steve joined us for Episode 1: What’s Twitter Got To Do With It)
Rob Tuma currently lives in Southern Indiana with his wife, and 2 boys. Rob heard the call to ministry from the secular world 6 years ago, and has always been passionate about teaching kids about Christ. Lately he has been spending much of his time researching preteen trends and issues. This age group is at a transitional time in their life when they begin to make their faith their own. We as children’s ministers have the increasing challenge of keeping these kids engaged in worship, as they no longer fit in with the younger elementary, nor the student ministry. When Rob is not busy doing ministry, he can be found remodeling his house and referring to himself in the third person.

Anthony Prince serves as the Director of Children’s Ministry at Glenkirk Church in the foothills of Los Angeles, CA. He is a graduate of the School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University, also located in sunny Southern California. Anthony was called to his first position in Children’s Ministry in the Fall of 2000 and has since worked in various sized churches; the smallest with just 50 in a weekend service and the largest having just over 5,000 members. Anthony and his wife, Christine, were married in the summer of 2006. In June of 2007, their son Carter was born and they are expecting the arrival of their first daughter, Kate, in the fall of ‘09. Anthony and his wife grew up in the small community of Susanville in Northern California where their parents still reside. When Anthony isn’t elbow deep in ministry, he enjoys playing and watching sports, reading bedtime stories to his son and eating Round Table pizza.
(Anthony joined us for Episode 3: Now That Easter’s Done, What About Mothers’ Day?)
Gina McClain is a speaker, teacher and writer. She serves as the LifeKIDS Pastor at the OKC Campus of LifeChurch.tv. Her marriage to Kyle McClain keeps her marginally sane while their 3 kids (Keegan , Josie and Connor) keep her from taking herself too seriously. Her driving motivator is to lead Christ-followers to embrace and foster ministry in their home. If the living room is the hub of ministry, the neighborhood is different. If the neighborhood is different, the city is different. If the city is different, the world is different. You can get a hold of Gina at GinaMcClain.com.
